Enjoy a fall favorite recipe highlighting butternut squash and Brussel sprouts.
Ok. So maybe these two vegetables are not your favorite but they are loaded with so much good for you goodies. Brussel sprouts are known to lower cholesterol, balance hormone levels, improve digestion, protect the heart, aid the immune system, and increase circulation, among others. Butternut squash can prevent constipation, improve eyesight, keepthe bones strong, protect the skin, boost the immune system, reduce inflammation, manage diabetes, and support good lung health. Plus everything always taste better roasted! I personally love brussel sprouts and think butternut squash taste pretty close to sweet potatoes which I eat regularly. I couldn't wait to make this recipe with my family. I will share their reaction with you, especially my kids, later this month.
